A bit of history...

1983
Creation of Transmanut

In 1983, Christian Savignard, the son of a farmer, founded Transmanut. His goal was to design handling equipment to improve farmers’ daily work. The first truck-mounted forklift was created, making it easier to transport livestock feed bags.

Specialized truck bodywork, custom expertise

To complement its expertise in truck-mounted forklifts, Transmanut quickly developed strong know-how in heavy vehicle bodywork. This skill is essential for load distribution studies and for adapting mounting systems to the rear of vehicles.

Today, this unique expertise is also applied to bulk logistics, with the design of bodies such as tanks for transporting animal feed and, later, wood energy products.

Handling expertise

Transmanut designs and builds self-propelled machines for specific needs. Since 1984, the company has developed a range of solutions tailored to its customers, including truck-mounted forklifts, multidirectional yard trucks, and multi-purpose machines
